Upper Teesdale is a stunningly beautiful and fascinating hidden corner of England that possesses a wealth of natural beauty for you to enjoy. Located in the North Pennines designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Durham countryside, it is a unique, relaxing location for a holiday or short visit.

We cater and organise various events throughout the year, including the very popular Farmers Market. To find out what we have already done, check out our Events Page under 'Things To Do', and find out how we are making a difference in the village.

Saturday 11th May saw the first Music Festival of its kind in Middleton-in-Teesdale. Over 250 people attended the event on Leekworth Caravan Park, and with 8 acts performing on the day, everyone who attended have had only great reviews on the event. Local Suppliers such as the Chip Shop, MacFarlane Family Butcher and with local beer being provided by Rebecca Tiplady, it really was beneficial to the local area too. Visit our Facebook Page 'Middleton +' to checkl out pictures from the day, and keep up to date with future events, like next years Middleton Live!
